King Kong Slot Machine: rules and general information
King Kong, or Kong - The 8th Wonder of the World, is a slot machine created by Playtech in collaboration with Universal Pictures. This means that it is entirely based on the 2005 movie King Kong, starring Naomi Watts and Jack Black. The action takes place in the jungle and the game shows symbols on five reels and three rows. Lines can be selected with ease, with a maximum of 20 for every spin. The image of the large primate, King Kong itself, is the wild symbol and will substitute for other icons in the game in order to create winning combinations. As an added perk, wild symbols pay even if they are scattered throughout the screen in three or more locations. These will also start 3 free respins with the triggering wild symbols and any additional ones being frozen until the feature ends. The regular scatter however is the logo of the game and three of them will start the Skull Island bonus game. This will take the player to a different screen showing the map of the island with different locations on it. Clicking on the locations will reveal one of three creatures or King Kong, with the goal being to match three creatures for a cash prize. Once the Skull Island bonus ends, the action moves to the Big City Mode. As a result, the background image and the symbol icons change. The features also improve a bit and getting three wild symbols in the Big City mode will offer three respins where entire reels are stacked wilds. Furthermore, three scatters in this mode will start another bonus game where King Kong is presented on top of the city tower and must take down planes with the help of the player. Each plane is worth a cash prize. The four main symbols show characters from the film: Ann Darrow, Carl Denham, Jack Driscoll and Captain Englehorn.
